Meet Elaine

Elaine Caplan, the owner of Ma Maison is a native of London, England. She decorated and designed beautiful homes in London for many years before she came to the United States in 1993. She is third generation in the fabric, decorating industry.

Elaine will guide you through the seemingly endless choices involved with remodeling projects, home additions, kitchen design, or the construction of new homes. She loves her profession, and she is sensitive to every client's needs, budget, and style. Over the years many of our clients have returned or recommended Ma Maison to friends or acquaintances.

Ma Maison (my house) was established in 2001 in Olde Towne, Portsmouth. Since then Elaine has continued to design and remodel the interiors of modern and traditional homes in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Suffolk, Chesapeake, and Portsmouth.
